POSITION SUMMARY
The Illinois Department of Central Management Services (CMS) Agency Support Division is seeking to hire a highly motivated and professional Mail Messenger Driver to perform mail and messenger duties. This position will sort and deliver mail by routes to various State of Illinois and US Post Office sites. POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Under general supervision, performs general mail and messenger duties for the section.
Sorts and delivers mail by routes to various State of Illinois and US Post Office sites as operations dictate.
On a rotation basis picks up outgoing mail from various state office locations in the Sangamon County area and transports to Pontiac, Illinois.
Performs basic upkeep and maintenance duties for the central mailroom and for assigned motor vehicle.
