Position Summary: The Estimator supports the business, builders, architects, and end customers by providing upfront product knowledge, pricing details, and comprehensive estimating and technical support. This role ensures that regional builders receive timely, accurate, and optimal structural estimates and pre-order assistance. The Estimator also collaborates with the sales team to provide the necessary information for final pricing decisions.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide accurate and optimal quotations and pre-order assistance for projects of low to moderate complexity (50 to 300 hours +/-) with limited oversight. (40%)
- Support the salesforce with information needed for setting final prices. (20%)
- Assist builders in understanding pricing software and its capabilities. (20%)
- Actively participate in team initiatives, maintaining focus on regional objectives and profitability goals. (10%)
- Increase or maintain department quote hit ratio. (5%)
- Mentor entry-level estimators when needed. (5%)
