\nRN - Cardiac Cath Lab
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work five 8-hour shifts per 7-day work week with Monday-Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
\n• Call requirements (determined based on staffing at service start)
\n• Some weekends may be required (determined based on staffing needs)
\n• Perform primary functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care
\n• Provide circulate, scrub and hemodynamic monitoring duties with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
\n• Perform interventional radiology procedures, holding area procedures, and imaging department nursing care support
\n• Provide pre-procedural, intra-procedural, and post-procedural care and patient instruction
\n• Administer moderate sedation to patients undergoing procedures
\n• Work with EPIC charting system
\n• Nurse to patient ratio in 4-6 room unit (new service line)
\n• Dress code: Scrubs
\n• Graduate of a school of nursing required
\n• Minimum 2 years nursing experience in cardiac cath or interventional radiology required
\n• Current Alaska Registered Nurse license required
\n• CPR certification through American Heart Association (AHA) required
\n• ACLS certification through AHA required upon hire
\n• PALS or ENPC certification through AHA required within 6 months of hire
\n• Must demonstrate clinical competence in basic cardiac physiology/pathology and 12-Lead EKG interpretation
\n• Knowledge of physiologic monitoring, pacemaker operations, and cardiac care equipment required
\n• Ability to use radiographic equipment as requested or assigned
