Description

SAIC is seeking Test Engineers to join the Machine-assisted Analytic Rapid-repository System (MARS) Advanced Development Operations (DevOps) and Sustainment Support (ADOS) program and provide support to facilitate operations of critical MARS infrastructure and services.

This effort focuses on providing a comprehensive set of System/ Software Engineering and IT Services to maintain, sustain, enhance, and improve/ modernize MARS.

This position will be located in the National Capital Region.

Please note that this is contingent upon contract award, with an anticipated decision expected by fall 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Experience in software testing with expertise in advanced test design techniques

  • Significant experience in test automation, performance testing, and continuous integration

  • Ability to lead testing efforts, provide technical guidance, and ensure comprehensive test coverage

  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts, manage complex test threads, and optimize test script performance including Functional, Ad Hoc, API, and Regression Testing

  • Monitor test executions and analyze outcomes to identify any discrepancies or failures

  • Continuously improve test methodologies to enhance test accuracy and reliability and update test documentation to reflect any changes in requirements or procedures

  • Identify software quality problems and coordinate with system developers to resolve defects

Qualifications

  • Clearance Requirements: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

  • One Active Certification(s): CompTIA Security+, Certified Software Tester (CSTE), CompTIA Network+ Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science and 9 years or more relevant experience (will consider an additional 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, etc.

  • Experience with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Junit, TestNG)

  • Experience with automated test script execution and management

  • Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for test scripts

  • Experience in an Agile environment, working in Sprints

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
