We are looking for an experienced and detail-driven Tax Preparer to join our dedicated services team in Madison, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing individual federal and state tax returns, ensuring compliance with current tax regulations, and providing tailored solutions to meet client needs. This position offers an opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate federal and state tax returns for individual clients using advanced tax software.
• Analyze financial data to recommend personalized tax strategies and optimize client outcomes.
• Provide exceptional service by addressing client inquiries and resolving tax-related concerns efficiently.
• Stay informed on changes to tax laws and regulations to maintain compliance and deliver high-quality service.
• Collaborate with team members to address complex tax issues and develop comprehensive solutions.
• Participate in mandatory training sessions to enhance skills and ensure growth.
• Utilize tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook to manage tasks and client communications effectively.• At least 2 years of experience in tax preparation.
• Certification as an Enrolled Agent is highly preferred.
• Strong ability to work independently while adhering to deadlines.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills for effective client engagement.
• Proficiency in using tax software and computer applications, including Microsoft 365.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
