About the Role

Sercante is seeking a sharp, curious, well-rounded SEO Specialist to join our expanding Delivery team. In this role, you’ll lead end-to-end SEO strategy and execution across various clients and industries. From auditing technical site performance to writing optimized page copy and collaborating with content creators, you'll drive measurable improvements in search visibility and organic traffic.

You’re equal parts technical and creative, comfortable jumping into site architecture, schema markup, and page speed audits, while also being able to draft compelling, SEO-friendly content. You’ll work directly with clients, guiding them through the evolving world of organic search, including the growing influence of AI-powered search experiences.

This hands-on, client-facing role has plenty of room to innovate and grow. You'll fit right in if you’re energized by building strategies, experimenting with new tools, and helping clients succeed in a constantly changing search landscape.

A Day in the Life:

• Lead full-scope SEO strategies across technical, on-page, and off-page initiatives
• Conduct in-depth audits and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations
• Analyze performance metrics using Google Analytics (GA4), Search Console, and other tools
• Set up and manage Google Tag Manager containers, events, and data layer strategies
• Implement and advise on best practices for site structure, Core Web Vitals, schema, and crawl optimization
• Write and edit SEO-driven content in collaboration with our content partners.
• Stay ahead of emerging trends like AI for SEO (AEO)
• Create performance dashboards and present insights directly to clients
• Partner with clients to build long-term organic growth strategies

A Successful SEO Specialist will: 

• Bring 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in an agency or fast-paced consulting environment
• Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console
• Be proficient in technical SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz
• Confidently implement schema markup, optimize Core Web Vitals, and support SEO across platforms like WordPress, Webflow, or HubSpot
• Write SEO-optimized content and collaborate effectively with internal and external content teams
• Clearly communicate SEO strategies, findings, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Stay ahead of emerging trends in search, including AI-powered SEO
• Guide clients through full-scope SEO strategies, from technical audits to long-term organic growth plans
• Thrive in a client-facing, fast-moving environment with a proactive and adaptable mindset
• Actively explore and apply AI content tools to improve performance and efficiency

  Bonus Points

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, HubSpot, or Marketo
  • Familiarity with AI content tools like ChatGPT, Jasper, or other AI SEO tools
  • Knowledge of attribution models, marketing automation, or data visualization tools
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale SEO initiatives
