Job Description
Express Employment is hiring highly motivated, hard working individuals to help our client in a rail unloading position out of Jessup, MD. This is full-time.
REQUIREMENTS:
-A minimum of 12 months in a previous rail loader or unloader position
-The ability to work outside for long shifts
-The ability to perform consistent heavy lifting
-Teamwork and punctuality
SCHEDULE:
Monday thru Friday
7:30am-5:00pm (can be as late as 6pm)
Unloading:
Removing goods, materials, or vehicles from railcars, often using a combination of manual labor and machinery.
Inspection:
Checking for damage or defects in the unloaded items and ensuring they are in good condition.
Sorting and Organizing:
Categorizing and arranging items according to type, destination, or other criteria.
Equipment operation
Safety Compliance:
Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
Communication:
Coordinating with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient operations and smooth workflows.
Physical Demands:
May involve lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and working in various weather conditions.
