Be a critical part of bringing cutting-edge powder handling systems to the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, ensuring medicine is produced safely, efficiently, and reliably. Role Summary: The primary role of this position is to oversee the successful execution and fulfillment of our project commitments to our customers. Projects shipped on time, on budget and within specifications is your responsibility. Rheo has built a team of highly competent and professional engineers and craftsmen to support our project managers throughout this process. Working with our internal resources and our client, you will manage the entire project lifecycle to deliver a solution that meets the design criteria, budget, and project timeline. Excellence in communication and organization is a key skill for success in this role. Common Duties: - Pre-Sale Responsibilities: - Coordinate design feasibility reviews for projects with Application Engineers, Design Engineers, and Product Managers. - Create project proposals (cost estimation, timeline, and technical specifications) using Rheo ERP system and other software tools such as PowerPoint for new projects - Coordinate and oversee feasibility testing and customer demonstrations on site - Perform site visits upon approval of manager - Attend client pre-sale meetings (primarily virtual meetings) and present project plan details - Post Sale Responsibilities (Active Projects): - Conduct project kick-off meeting with client and key stakeholders - Create and manage a detailed project plan including a timeline - Assemble documentation for approval submittal packages and coordinate with customers, sales, and engineering teams for project approval - Create project hand-off documents for Product Design Team and drive task completion - Assemble project documentation packages - Manage project scope changes. - Host customers for Factory Acceptance Testing in our testing center: Coordinate and oversee project testing - Manage project budgets and ensure project financial performance using Rheo ERP system - Work with various internal resource teams to establish critical path commitments - Coordinate with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams and on schedule, budget, and other project updates - Post Shipment Responsibilities (after customer receives project): - Schedule Site Acceptance Test - Oversee Commissioning & Qualification and final sign-off Success in This Role Looks Like: - Projects completed on-time and on-budget - Right solution provided for the customer - Customers satisfied with project communication Customer Impact of This Role: - Effective project management will leave customers singing Rheo’s praises. An effective project manager makes the customer’s lives easier and increases their trust by: - Communicating consistently and proactively - Ensuring Rheo’s solution solves their problem(s) - Responding to customer questions/concerns quickly and succinctly Minimum Qualifications: Education: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field Software: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook) - Familiarity with a Project Management software Experience: - 5+ years of project management experience Traits: - Superb Communication – Understandably and respectfully get your ideas/instructions/points across - Detail-Orientation - High attention to detail and highly organized - Delegation Skills - Proven ability to effectively delegate tasks & track their progress - Extreme Ownership – Ability to see a project through from beginning to end, no matter the obstacle - Team Spirit – You go above and beyond for the good of the team and are easy to work with - Willingness to travel (<10%) Preferred Qualifications: - Proficiency in an Enterprise Resource Planning software - Proficiency with Microsoft Project - Familiarity with 3D CAD software – Autodesk Inventor preferred - Experience in the Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry - Experience managing projects for a custom equipment manufacturer Working Conditions: - Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer - Ability to traverse the manufacturing facility and stand for prolonged periods during project testing - Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times - Travel (<10%) Benefits: - Medical, Dental, Vision, Life - HSA Employer Contributions with qualifying plan enrollment - 401(k) with 4% employer match - 16 days of PTO per year at start - T-Mobile Phone Plan paid for by Rheo w/ new phone stipend every two years - Variable compensation based on project gross margin
