Job Description

Hastings Senior Health & Living,  a Cassia community, is seeking a  Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)to join the team in  Hastings, MN.   This is your opportunity to join a solid, stable, and fun team. Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time working a varied schedule

 

Shifts Available (including every other weekend):

Days (Every Other Weekend): 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Part-Time with Full-Time potential)
Evenings (Every Other Weekend): 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (Part-Time with Full-Time potential)
Evenings: 2:30pm - 11:00pm (Full-Time)
Nights: 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Part-Time or Full-Time)

 

Wage: $27.89 - $36.26 per hour (based on experience)

Shift Differential : Additional $2 per hour for Evening and Night shifts. 

Bonus:
$5,000 (Part-Time)
$10,000 (Full-Time)

Location: 930 West 16th Street, Hastings, MN 55033

We are located near the cities of Cottage Grove, Inver Grove Heights, South St. Paul, Rosemount, Woodbury and Prescott, Wisconsin.

  Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties:
  • Develops, implements, and evaluates resident care plans.
  • Recognizes and manages common geriatric conditions.
  • Supervises TMAs and Nursing Aides.
  • Maintains respectful, professional interactions with residents, families, and staff.
  • Administers and monitors medications and treatments per physician orders.
  • Manages medication and supply inventory according to policy.
  • Documents care using electronic charting systems.
  • Communicates significant changes in resident condition to appropriate parties.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications:
  • Current Minnesota LPN license in good standing.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems effectively.
  • Passion for providing quality nursing care to older adults.
