Overview Role: Process Operator (1st Shift) – Washington, Missouri (WEG Transformers USA) WEG is seeking an experienced production operator with mechanical or electrical aptitude to join our Power Transformers team. Responsibilities Performing layout operations from templates. Move material between operations manually with hoist. Moving materials between operations manually or with a hoist. Preparing tanks for production and shipment. Flip and prepare tanks for production and shipment; internally moving to the next department. Loading all tank components to cradle and tagging with correct paperwork for internal shipment. Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading, understanding, and interpreting Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawings, schematics, and specifications. Mathematical Skills: Capability to perform basic mathematical computations for tasks such as calculating material quantities or estimating production times. Location: Currently resides or plans to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Washington, Missouri. Screening: All candidates must complete a satisfactory interview, background screen, and drug screen. Safety-sensitive position: Drug screen will include THC. Work Authorization: Must have current authorization for employment within the United States. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Certification: ACT WorkKeys Career Readiness Certification (NCRC).
