Job Title :Process Engineer III /Fiber optics Design Engineer

Scope of Position:
• A senior process engineer responsible for providing hands-on support for identifying and implementing process improvements for Single & Tandem Flow Ribbon production lines.
• Member of Process Improvement Team collaborating with a diverse team (mechanical, electrical, controls, facilities, IT, operations, etc.) in a high-speed cable manufacturing setting.
• Design & execute experiments, analyze data, present results & recommendations
• Analyze data sets to identify relationships/capabilities for line performance
• Support Tandem lines in pilot production phase
Requirements:
• Experience with high-speed optical fiber cable manufacturing equipment is a plus (jacketing, ribbon stranding, buffering)
• Effective technical leadership, organization, and planning skills, with ability to handle changing priorities.
• Creative/innovative problem solving.
• Experience in successfully completing projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent Analytical Skills - Decision-making based on data.
• Must be a self-starter, able to work in team environment and motivate others.
• Strong data analysis, interpretation, visualization, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in using software packages such as JMP, Minitab and Power-BI to analyze and display data.
