Office Manager - Logistics industry
$25-27/hr
Windsor, CT


Our client is seeking an professional to support a key leader in the company. This role is crucial in running to day-to-day operations, and you will serve as a key administrative and organizational resource for management, clients, vendors, and staff.



Responsibilities
  • Provide direct administrative support to the President
  • Handle bookkeeping tasks and assist with basic accounting functions including billing and accounts payable
  • Coordinate insurance related administrative work including negotiating with providers and renewals
  • Manage credentialing for staff
  • Support HR needs including serving as a resource for employee concerns
  • Manage phone coverage and front office communication
  • Maintain records, files, and documentation for operations and compliance
  • Assist with scheduling, reporting, and general office organization
  • Support operational workflow across warehouse, logistics, and driver teams as needed
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree required
  • 3+ years of administrative experience
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in logistics, trucking, distribution, or manufacturing
  • Basic bookkeeping skills including AP, AR, and reconciliations
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, steady demeanor
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and maintain organization in a fast paced environment
