This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8 hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Central Time. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Based on business needs, this role will require driving to designated locations 3-4 days per week. The remaining hours not spent on the road would be spent working in the office.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for driving the UHC promotional van to designated locations to support member services, agent and broker engagement, and marketing initiatives 
• Provide expertise and customer service support to members, customers, and/or providers 
• Serve as the liaison to a complex customer base to manage first level response and resolution of escalated issues with external and internal customers 
• Proficient in UHC products and able to provide plan consultations tailored to each prospect's needs 
• Identify and resolve operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment 
• Investigate claim and/or customer service issues as identified and communicate resolution to customers 
• Provide feedback to team members regarding improvement opportunities

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience 
• Must be 18 years of age OR older
• Bilingual Fluency (written and verbal) in Vietnamese and/or a Chinese language (Mandarin or Cantonese) and English 
• 1+ years of experience interacting with customers in a face to face environment (whether as a volunteer or performing community outreach, hosting community events, etc.)
• Valid Driver's License with a clean Driving Record 
• Must obtain Texas Life & Health License within three months of employment 
• Must be willing to travel up to 75% around Houston and nearby cities
• Must be located within 40 miles from the office, 10613 Bellaire Boulevard, A200, Houston, TX 77072

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fluent in Vietnamese and Mandarin and/or Cantonese 

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.00 - $35.72 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
