The Role:

Support bars by serving guest drinks and responding to special customer service requests. Provide "The Best
Customer Service in Black Hawk," through "Genuine Service" to all internal and external guests

Responsibilities:

• Bartenders must be friendly, helpful and courteous when dealing with all guests.
• Responsible for monies in the coin banks.
• Prepares orders taken from the cocktail staff and guests.
• Keeps inventory of stock in their assigned bar.
• Notifies barbacks when supplies are low.
• Prepares cut fruit, condiments, etc.
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards, which may be established by Bally's from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
• Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to Bally's Attendance Policy.
• Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property. This includes all shifts, weekends and holiday periods.
• Performs related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous money handling and guest service experiences preferred.
• Must be TIPS certified within first 30 days of employment.
• Must have basic mathematical skills. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to exercise initiative and a sense of urgency.
• Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.
• Must have an outgoing personality and enjoy dealing with people.
• Strong tactical skills.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all employees and guests.
• Able to work all shifts to include weekends and holidays.
