Mission Driven Distributors (MDD) is looking for a safe, dedicated, and detail-focused Warehouse Operator to join our distribution center team in Aurora! Key Responsibilities:

The Warehouse Operator is key in supporting the flow of goods within our operations by ensuring products reach their destination flawlessly. A day in the life includes these responsibilities that may expand or adjust as we continue to grow:

• Operating a variety of material handling equipment like reach trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks, ensuring smooth and precise movements within the warehouse environment.
• Loading and unloading materials and merchandise from trucks and other transportation vehicles.
• Transporting materials to designated storage areas , ensuring accurate placement and safe organization of products.
• Selecting and picking products for shipment , utilizing technology like RF scanners and ensuring order accuracy.
• Performing routine inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols , including proper load handling, awareness of surroundings, and using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like high-visibility vests and freezer gear.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of material movements and inventory levels.
• Collaborating effectively with warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflows and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, showcasing excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness (certification must be achieved with us).
• Strong commitment to safety , always following procedures and prioritizing the well-being of themselves and others.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling, inspecting, and documenting materials.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities for effective collaboration with colleagues.
• Physical ability to lift and move materials; stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday and up to 100 pounds occasionally each workday.
• Ability to perform basic math including adding; subtracting, multiplying, and dividing two-digit numbers.
