• Work on 5W Medicine unit (36 beds) at the Mission Hospital Main building
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 3 CNAs, 1 HUC, and 1-2 sitters with current ratios of 1:5/6• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 7 RNs, 3 CNAs, 0.5 HUC, and 1-2 sitters with current ratios of 1:6/7• Required to work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday count as weekend shifts for night shift)• Float to Med-Surge units: 3W, 5W, K8 (sister units)• Work with medical remote telemetry monitoring, Cerner Patient Observation (CPO), and VC150s in every patient room • Use work station on wheels for every staff member and Tap and Go for computer/documentation access • Prepare patients for Endoscopy, IR, and OR procedures • Must maintain BLS certification (required), CMSRN certification encouraged • Medical telemetry experience required • BSN, leadership experience, and charge nurse experience preferred • Dress code requires navy blue top and bottom, white top and navy blue bottom, or all white scrubs • Work in fast-paced environment requiring hard-working, compassionate, team-oriented personality • Use Cerner EMR system for documentationFacility:
