Job Description

We are seeking a qualified ICU Registered Nurse to provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical care skills and experience managing a variety of critical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage patients with external ventricular drains (EVD) and multiple medication drips.


• Perform comprehensive assessments utilizing CAM, CPOT, and RASS tools.


• Care for trauma patients of varying severities.


• Administer hypothermia treatment and manage pleurevac chest tube drainage.


• Utilize Allscripts EMR effectively.


• Adhere to strict infection control protocols, including hand hygiene practices.


• Follow standard operating procedures and critical care best practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BSN or higher degree from an accredited nursing school.


• RN License to practice in New York State or by reciprocity.


• Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience preferred.


• Certifications: AHA BCLS, ACLS, PALS required upon offer; CCRN and TNCC preferred.
