Akkodis is seeking a Technician for a Contract job with a client in Oxnard CA 93030 (Onsite). We’re ideally looking for applicants to have some experience in Automotive industries, freshers are also invited, as this is entry level role.

Pay Range: $25-$30/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Role Summary:

This role supports all Test Fleet Activities as needed determined by Management or Station Coordinator.

Role Responsibilities:

Main responsibility - assign 90% of time spent

• Perform detailed and thorough inspections and repair of all test vehicles

• Perform SW and HW updates including reporting systems with guidance from Sr. Technicians

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of test vehicles as defined

• Provide full vehicle support for entire concern test vehicles as requested

Additional responsibilities - assign 10% of time

• Safety and cleanliness of work area is mandatory and common areas

• Provide overall support for tasks unrelated to vehicle testing for department operations

• Support of test driver needs and questions before and after shifts

Qualifications (Skills & Experiences & Education)

Years of Relevant Experience: Minimum years of relevant experience needed to perform the job.

3-5 years job related experience. Automotive background & technical experience.

Education

Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Automotive vocational technical training

• Dealership product training

Skills: General skills needed to perform the job

• Analytical and conceptual thinking - using logic and reason, creative and strategic

• Valid drivers license with good DMV record

• Solid knowledge of the English language

• Communication skills - interpersonal, presentation and written

• Computer savvy - skilled in use of software / Engineering tools

• Integration - joining people, processes or systems

• Problem solving
