Description

SAIC is seeking Test Engineers/ QA Controllers to join the Machine-assisted Analytic Rapid-repository System (MARS) Advanced Development Operations (DevOps) and Sustainment Support (ADOS) program and provide on-site technical and administrative support to facilitate operations of critical MARS infrastructure and services. This effort focuses on providing a comprehensive set of System/ Software Engineering and IT Services to maintain, sustain, enhance, and improve/ modernize MARS. This position will be located in the National Capital Region. The Test Engineers/ QA Controllers responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Conducts detailed testing and quality assurance activities to ensure MARS software and systems meet specified requirements
  • Develops comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts based on the MARS framework
  • Executes tests and documents results meticulously. Identifies, logs, and tracks defects through resolution, ensuring compliance with DIA standards
  • Collaborates with development teams to communicate findings and suggest improvements
  • Ensures compliance with QA standards and best practices
  • Participates in developing and implementing automation testing specific to MARS needs

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • One of the following certifications CND, CompTIA Network+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Cloud+, PenTest+, CompTIA Security+, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering and 5 years or more relevant experience (will consider an additional 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)
  • Proficiency in developing and executing test plans, conducting quality assurance checks, and ensuring product quality
  • Experience in managing test cases, performing defect tracking, and providing test reports
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, quality control processes, and test management tools

Salary Target salary range $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
