Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Tax Staff/Enrolled Agent to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $60,000 to $95,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities: - Conduct tax research to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
- Represent clients before the IRS and other tax authorities during audits and inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all tax-related documents and communications.
- Assist in tax planning and provide recommendations to clients to minimize tax liabilities.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax projects.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and tax software's
Experience: - Tax preparation and tax resolution experience, with Enrolled Agent designation.
- Ensured compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
