Duration: 3 months Contract

Job Description:

• Ensures achievement of production schedules in accordance with the objectives of cost - quality – lead time
• Organizes the training needs of teams
• Ensures safety focused attitude by all employees
• Has ownership of group performance goals and objectives

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Experience:

• Must have experience in managing about ~25-30 employees
• Contributes to the industrial processes improvement with the functions supports
• Responsible for people management including goal setting, performance management, competency development, recognition, engagement, and well-being

Skills:

• Must have union experience in a manufacturing setting and timekeeping (Kronos)

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree
