About the company

Our esteemed organization, a leader in the scientific industry, is seeking a dynamic and seasoned Senior Plant Manager. The successful candidate will oversee all daily operations of the plant, ensuring policies and procedures are followed. The Senior Plant Manager will work closely with various departments, including production, quality, and maintenance, to optimize operations and ensure product quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership, food processing, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all plant operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and performance.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Ensure compliance with SQF and HACCP standards.
  • Coordinate with R&D, production, and quality departments to maintain product quality and consistency.
  • Manage documentation to comply with regulatory standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Develop and manage budgets efficiently.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in plant management within the dairy or food processing industry.
  • Experience with SOPs, CMMS, food processing, SQF, and HACCP.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
