Corporations, law firms, non-profits, and individuals alike are still using spreadsheets and archaic government websites to understand how bills and regulations impact their industry. They deserve a 21st-century tool that streamlines how we make sense of pending legislation and enables a more transparent and accessible advocacy process. Customers include Fortune 500 Companies, AM Law 200 Global Law Firms, and Government Organizations. Hybrid work model: remote and office in DUMBO, Brooklyn. Role We’re looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team of 12. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a crucial hands-on role in leading the design, development, and maintenance of our web applications while actively contributing to the codebase. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions and drive the technical direction of our projects. Your Background Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, managing project timelines and deliverables. Web Frameworks: Experience with frameworks such as Remix and NextJS (ideally 5+ years). Front-end Languages: Proficiency with HTML, CSS, Typescript, and Javascript. Database Knowledge: Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases. Cloud Services: Experience building with and deploying to AWS/GCP. Code Quality and Testing: Ensure code quality through reviews, CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration and Communication: Effectively work in a cross-functional environment. Fast Learner: Quickly learn new concepts and skills. Determination: Love challenges and persist through complex problems. Passionate: Enthusiastic about politics and increasing government transparency.
