Job Summary Medline has an immediate opening for a Senior Analyst Business Analytics located at our headquarters in Northfield, IL on a hybrid basis. This person will conduct advanced data research, financial analysis, and strategic evaluations to support business objectives and decision‑making processes. The role involves analyzing internal and external data, understanding market and economic trends, and developing actionable recommendations to improve business performance. The analyst works closely with senior management, project leaders, and cross‑functional teams to drive key business initiatives and investments. Responsibilities Identify data and reporting tools necessary for business, financial, and data analysis; communicate the results to stakeholders; plan and prepare financial and operational analysis that informs planning and decision‑making. Work directly with Inventory Management, Information Systems, Financial Audit and other groups to provide intermediate and advanced level analysis and reporting. Develop and analyze scorecards, delivering insight into trends or unusual performance; analyze competitive market strategies and perform market trend analysis, developing measurement tools to identify changing market trends. Organize plans and recommend continuous improvement of processes and procedures. Synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action; identify and monitor potential customers using business intelligence tools. Collect and analyze financial information related to the organization’s expenses, seek ways to improve the accuracy of budgets and forecasts, summarize and present data findings to leadership. Support long‑term financial planning with detailed sales analyses and present findings and business/sales plans to corporate finance teams. Minimum Job Requirements Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Mathematics, Applied Statistics, or Business Analytics. Work Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in an analyst‑related role. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities : Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, charts, PivotTables, nested formulas, macros, Power Query); strong time‑management skills; proven experience analyzing and reporting data to drive improvement; experience with SAP, SQL, Tableau & CRM. The Anticipated Salary Range For This Position $79,560.00 – $115,440.00 per year (bonus and/or incentive eligible).
