As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Officer Government in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report findings to appropriate personnel.
• Enforce rules and regulations specific to the location and respond according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings to help to deter potential threats to the location.

• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by law.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
