As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, offering exceptional customer service while supporting a secure environment. + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
+ Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site protocols.
+ Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and emergency responders to support the overall security-related needs of the location.
+ Remain alert to potential hazards and/or unusual activity and take appropriate action in accordance with site policies.
+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Vaccinations are required for hospital positions.
+ Applicants must be able to work in hospital morgue environments.
+ Applicants must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
