As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone on site. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and respond promptly to any situations that arise, all while upholding the values of agility, reliability, and innovation that define Allied Universal. This position requires a valid driver's license in the job state, as you may be responsible for driving as part of your duties. Pay Rate: $22.21 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri06:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.
• Possess a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
