Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

School Social Worker - Near Phoenicia, New York

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and small-group counseling services in alignment with students IEPs, 504 Plans, and Tier 2 or Tier 3 interventions identified through the MTSS mittee.
• Partner with families to identify and access munity-based resources that support students emotional and mental health needs.
• Serve as a member of the counseling team and support faculty in responding to occasional crisis situationssuch as student dysregulation or emotional distress

The candidate must hold current and valid NYS certifications and meet the following standards:

• New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or actively in process toward obtaining LCSW status, with supervision provided if pending.
• Alternatively, New York State Certified School Social Worker (C-SSW) credentials are acceptable.
• All appropriate Mandated Reporter training , as required by New York State education regulations.
• pletion of approved NYSED fingerprinting and background clearance .
• Documentation of Sexual Harassment Prevention training per NYSED guideline
