Job Title: Residential Service Plumber / Plumbing AdvisorAs a Residential Service Plumber, you’ll combine your technical plumbing expertise with strong customer service and sales skills. You’ll work directly with homeowners to diagnose, repair, and install plumbing systems while identifying opportunities for additional services. You’ll manage your own leads, perform high-quality plumbing work, and provide expert guidance to customers to solve their problems efficiently and effectively. This role is ideal for plumbers who can deliver excellent service, grow sales, and represent Benjamin Franklin Plumbing with professionalism and pride. Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver Exceptional Service: Perform residential plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance with precision and professionalism. Drive Sales: Identify opportunities to upsell services and solutions such as repipes, water treatment systems, and other high-value projects. Manage leads independently to close additional sales. Customer Relationships: Build trust with clients by explaining work clearly, addressing concerns, and providing a positive service experience. Follow-Up: Ensure customers are satisfied after each project and address any additional needs promptly. Performance Metrics: Maintain high closing rates, meet sales targets, and uphold the company’s 5-star reputation through top-quality work and service. Other Duties: Support team operations and perform additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth service delivery. QualificationsExperience: 5–6 years of residential plumbing service and repair. Must be comfortable with installations, diagnostics, and complex repairs. Technical Expertise: Knowledge of plumbing codes, permitting processes, and proficiency with tools like sewer cameras, leak detection devices, and standard plumbing tools. Sales Skills: Ability to generate leads, identify customer needs, and sell additional plumbing services effectively. CRM Skills: Experience with ServiceTitan or similar software is a plus. Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-first attitude. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple service calls and projects efficiently. Physical Requirements: Comfortable lifting up to 90 lbs, working in tight spaces, standing, crawling, climbing, and operating in various weather conditions.
