• Prepare detailed, accurate roofing estimates for residential projects using Xactimate and/or Symbility.
• Review photos and documentation provided by field sales reps to develop scope of work.
• Adjust and update estimates based on job progress, inspections, or supplement opportunities.
• Ensure all estimates align with company pricing structures and insurance guidelines.

• Interpret insurance scopes and identify missed line items or underpaid claims based on field documentation.
• Write and submit supplement requests to insurance carriers using Xactimate and/or Symbility.
• Communicate with insurance adjusters as needed to defend scope changes and ensure proper compensation for the projects.
• Track status of supplement submissions and coordinate follow-ups.

• Work closely with the Sales Manager, CMO, Director of Operations, and Exterior Specialists to ensure estimates align with customer needs and operational needs.
• Provide guidance and clarification on estimates to the sales team as needed.
• Track and maintain accurate status updates for each estimate.
• Maintain organized and accurate project notes in the company’s CRM.
• Ensure all estimates, supplements, and communication logs are up to date and stored properly.

• As the estimating department grows, take a leadership role in training, mentoring, and managing future estimators/supplementers.
• Help develop standard operating procedures for estimating and supplementing workflows.

• Xactimate Certification (Level 1 minimum, Level 2+ preferred)
• 2+ years of experience in residential roofing estimating, insurance restoration, or claims adjusting
• Strong understanding of roofing systems, materials, and scopes of work
• Proficiency with CRMs and estimating softwares
• Written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in-office and thrive in a collaborative team environment

• Experience working with insurance carriers and understanding of claim cycles
• Background in construction, roofing, or property restoration
• Familiarity with local building codes and regional pricing variations
