Job Description
The QA Tester will be responsible for executing manual test cases, validating new feature functionality, and ensuring overall product quality through hands-on testing. This individual will work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Developers to confirm that implemented features meet acceptance criteria and deliver a seamless user experience. The QA Tester will focus on identifying defects, documenting results, and supporting the team in delivering reliable, high-quality releases.
Core ResponsibilitiesExecute manual test cases and test scenarios for new features, enhancements, and regression cycles.
Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owners to understand requirements and expected outcomes for each feature.
Perform exploratory testing to uncover defects and validate system behavior beyond scripted scenarios.
Document and communicate defects clearly, including steps to reproduce, screenshots, and expected vs. actual results.
Participate in requirement and design review sessions to provide feedback from a tester’s perspective.
Work closely with developers to retest resolved defects and confirm fixes.
Track test results and provide clear reporting to the team on testing progress and outcomes.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by assisting stakeholders with test execution and issue triage.
Help ensure regression coverage by rerunning key test cases prior to release.
