Position Summary:We are currently seeking a skilled Part-Time Armed Security Officer to join our Patrol team. In this role, you will be assigned to various client sites to ensure the safety and security of people, property, and assets. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who will have a strong background in security, law enforcement, or military service, and be adaptable to diverse environments while maintaining a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide armed security presence at assigned client sites to deter criminal or unauthorized activity.
• Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols of premises, access points, and surrounding areas.
• Detain potential criminal offenders and safely de-escalate situations.
• Monitor surveillance systems (as required) and identify suspicious behavior or safety hazards.
• Enforce site-specific protocols and communicate clearly with clients, staff, customers, and guests.
• Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, including documenting actions taken.
• Document information in CAD software, patrol software, and other systems as necessary.
• Prepare clear and concise daily activity reports, incident reports, and client updates.
• Maintain a high level of situational awareness and remain alert during entire shift.
• Work collaboratively with internal dispatch, security team, investigative team, client staff, first responders, and citizens when incidents arise.
• Represent the firm professionally and respectfully, maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times.
• Carry and maintain a firearm, taser, OC spray, radio, and other equipment in accordance with duties.
• Safely operate company owned vehicles as necessary

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Georgia Drivers License
• Obtain, qualify, and maintain Armed Security Guard License issued by Georgia Licensing Board.
• Current and valid state special firearms permit; demonstrated proficiency with assigned weapon(s).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and client needs.
• Clean background check, motor vehicle history, and drug screening required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to various client locations.
• Basic Knowledge and understanding of citizens rights, laws in relation to private property, and Search and Seizure Procedures
• Basic Knowledge and understanding of Use of Force and De-escalation techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice or related field
• Previous military, law enforcement, or armed security experience preferred
• Two or more years of patrol experience
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Familiarity with investigative databases
• Basic Familiarity and Understanding of Radios, Public Safety Dispatch, and CAD software
• Two or more years of Report Writing Experience in patrol or law enforcement operations
• First Aid/CPR certification
• AED certification

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly wage: $15$20/hr based on experience and credentials
• Flexible scheduling options
• Eligible for applicable overtime pay under FLSA
• All job-related training and licensing costs reimbursed, where applicable
• Workers' compensation and unemployment insurance coverage included as per Georgia W-2 employment requirements

Work Conditions & Schedule:

• In-person work only
• Varying shift lengths: 4, 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts
• Day, evening, and overnight shifts
• On-call availability and weekend work may be required
