About the Role:

We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle of interior commercial construction projects in the Dallas area. From preconstruction through closeout, this role is responsible for owning every phase of project delivery — including scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, and direct client communication.

You’ll be the go-to leader coordinating with field superintendents, executive leadership, and clients to ensure smooth project execution. This is a hands-on role, and we’re specifically looking for PMs who are comfortable estimating their own projects, as there is no dedicated estimating team in-house.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage interior construction projects from preconstruction through final turnover
• Create and manage project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking
• Prepare and manage estimates, proposals, and change orders
• Oversee subcontractor scopes, procurement, and contract execution
• Communicate regularly with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams
• Partner closely with field teams to ensure seamless coordination and quality execution
• Maintain documentation including RFIs, submittals, and project reports
• Proactively identify and resolve project challenges to keep everything on track

Requirements:

• 5–10+ years of project management experience in commercial construction
• Experience managing interior renovations and tenant improvement (TI) projects preferred
• Must be able to estimate your own projects (no in-house estimators)
• Strong financial acumen and scheduling expertise (Procore, MS Project, or similar)
• Local knowledge of subcontractors and vendors a plus
• Background with well-known general contractors is highly desirable
• Steady employment history with no more than 3 jobs in the past 10 years
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
