CSOC is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the Office of Sheriff by providing relevant programs and support to all county sheriffs’ offices within Colorado. We do this by providing educational and professional development to all law enforcement, promote public safety initiatives and programs, and support law enforcement and public safety personnel in times of stress and need.

 

We are currently seeking a full-time Program Technician to join our team of dedicated employees! This is an opportunity to assist in the creation and implementation of important efforts to support county Sheriffs across the state.

Salary Range from $50,000 - $55,000 annually

 

Work is conducted throughout the state and may require travel for the purpose of site visits, training and promoting CSOC programs.

 

Job Purpose: The Program Technician (PT) is primarily responsible for implementation, monitoring and adherence to contracts and grants for CSOC projects/programs.

Job Overview

 

This position is a full-time exempt employee role reporting directly to the Program Manager (PM). The PT is responsible for working with the PM in various aspects of assigned CSOC programs. Responsibilities include:

 

· Support the PM in developing, building, and maintaining CSOC programs in support of Colorado’s county Sheriffs.

· Work effectively with the Lead Program Technician to ensure all tasks are completed according to the program needs.

· Gather, interpret and prepare data for surveys, studies, reports and program recommendations.

· Maintain records, spreadsheets and documentation as required by grants or program deliverables. Assist with grant reporting, monitoring deliverables and budget, and proper recording of costs.

· Schedule and advertise program opportunities in collaboration with the PM.

· Assist in maintaining a program website page and social media accounts.

· Learn team members jobs across CSOC to be able to perform additional tasks when necessary.

 

 

Knowledge and Skills Required

 

· Experience in implementing new projects and/or programs.

· Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), and general computer skills.

· Experience in grant management and administration including documenting, reporting, and budgeting.

· Aptitude to understand, articulate, and incorporate in the work, the Office of Sheriff and CSOC mission and values.

· Proficient in time management, organization, attention to detail, and prioritizing workload.

· Ability to work independently and with a team.

· Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, partners, and customers of CSOC using various tools and platforms.
