Alpine Building Performance is a residential and commercial inspection and environmental testing provider serving Denver Metro communities. We understand that buying a property is one of the most important financial decisions our clients will make. That’s why we deliver a positive, professional, and informative experience - built on trust and backed by modern tools.

The owner is an InterNACHI Certified Master Inspector, Energy Auditor, and BPI Analyst with a B.S. in Building Science and 15+ years of experience in home building, remodeling, inspections, and energy consulting.

You’ll work closely with our Inspection and Environmental Teams, gaining hands-on training and mentorship from industry leaders. You’ll also use top-tier tools like drones, thermal imaging, and our modern Spectora digital platform. Our team operates out of Tradecraft Industries, Denver’s co-working hub for construction professionals.

Location:
This is a field-based role with regular travel throughout the Denver Metro and surrounding areas. Operations are based out of Tradecraft Industries (6145 Broadway, Denver), with remote flexibility after training.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Building background or experience in home inspections or related trades

  • InterNACHI or ASHI certified - or willing to become certified (we’ll support you)

  • Strong communication skills and professionalism with clients and agents

  • Comfortable with ladders, crawlspaces, attics, and roofs

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated

  • Tech-savvy - familiar with Windows, Google Workspace, Dropbox, and quick to learn new software

  • Able to work well independently and in a small, fast-moving team

  • Valid Colorado driver’s license, clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle and insurance (must transport tools and ladders)

  • Must pass a background and driving record check

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with diagnostic tools like blower doors or infrared cameras

  • Interest in building science, energy efficiency, or sustainable construction

  • High energy with strong people skills

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting responsibilities

  • Able to manage a full schedule and communicate your needs clearly

  • Thrive in a small business culture and enjoy building something meaningful

  • Sales or client-facing experience a plus
