Overview Product Management Sr. Advisor - CIGNA - Hybrid at Cigna Healthcare. This is a HYBRID position with on-site presence at times in Bloomfield, CT. Local applicants only. Responsibilities Custodian Operations Facilitate client transactions and investment platform updates with the custodian, including reallocations, fund liquidations, new fund offerings, account openings, market entries, and resolution of account/transaction issues identified within custody and administration platforms. Support testing of infrastructure upgrades impacting COLI’s pricing and trading model; provide feedback and coordinate implementation of changes that affect users in COLI. Manage overall custody accounts: on-boarding of new investment managers (sub-advised) and mutual funds; asset transfers/liquidations; monitor transaction execution; resolve trade issues; reconcile accounts. Partner with Client Service on trades with large account impact; determine best approach for large-dollar trades between strategies; resolve NAV/AUV issues and overdrafts. Move assets from sub-advised accounts to new strategies or liquidate sub-advised strategies as needed. Determine steps for custodian, cash movement, fund accounting, administration processing, overdrafts and client reporting outcomes. Support nightly NAV and AUV pricing; communicate pricing impacts to relevant parties. Daily monitoring of balances, units, and cash movements with corrective actions as needed. Product Management Establish and maintain relationships with brokers, clients, vendors to gather competitive information and position products; coordinate internal market update reviews and include market intelligence for consideration. Manage the implementation of new products or enhancements, including development of product specifications for illustration software and administration system. Collaborate with management and actuarial teams to price new plans and respond to RFPs; work with administration and illustration system colleagues to execute new product designs and client implementations. Projects Lead or support identified projects within COLI, working with internal and external partners. Serve as a technical/resource on COLI/BOLI product initiatives; translate product or client plan design changes into technical requirements for system development as needed. Support internal investment management infrastructure and vendor changes related to COLI; ensure modifications maintain cohesive structure across custody, fund accounting, reporting and data feeds for accurate client and securities valuation. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; MBA/CPA preferred. 8+ years of experience in financial services or 6+ years in COLI; custody account management and investment operations experience. Project management experience in a matrix environment. General knowledge of life insurance products; COLI/BOLI knowledge preferred. Experience drafting system specifications including complex life insurance calculations. Proficiency in Windows-based software (MS Office). Strong analytical and financial skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Organizational awareness, problem-solving, customer service orientation; proven multi-tasking and attention to detail. FINRA Series 6, 63.
