about the role

we are seeking a product developer to join our team and contribute to the development and refinement of our nail polish collections. this role is highly hands-on and will begin with foundational responsibilities in material handling, organization, and product testing, with opportunities to grow into advanced formulation and innovation work.

key responsibilities

• build and maintain a pigment library - organizing colors and materials while capturing their unique strengths, quirks, and character
• keep detailed records of prototypes, documenting what worked, what didn’t, and the discoveries made along the way
• test shades and formulas with an obsessive eye, giving feedback on application, opacity, dry time, and overall customer experience
• explore and test pigments in different bases and formats, always pushing to see how far they can go
• help reimagine and refine prototypes, shaping them into stronger, more consistent products
• dive into creative trials, experimenting with bold ideas and unexpected approaches
• preserve the story of each formula through careful notes, archives, and samples

qualifications & skills

• a sharp eye for color, texture, and finish , with the ability to notice even the smallest shifts
• an appreciation for detail and organization , treating every sample and note as part of a larger creative process
• experimental by nature, with the persistence to keep trying new angles when the first answer doesn’t work
• independent and self-motivated, able to carry projects forward with focus and care
• obsessed with the user experience , from the first brushstroke to the final look
• seeking long-term stability and growth in a role
