RSM US LLP is looking for a dynamic Pre-Sales Engineer (PSE) that will have a primary focus on facilitating the growth of our Business Applications practice.

Position Summary:

The Microsoft PSE drives project solutioning by serving as the functional expert for the Supply Chain Management function. The PSE collaborates with sales and delivery resources to ensure proposed projects include solutions that accurately address the client's needs and appropriately support key client decision-makers. The PSE is responsible for achieving revenue quotas based on the expectations of the business development team and practice. The sales territory will encompass pursuits across the nation, with flexible work from home options if preferred.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead pursuits as the functional architect, prioritizing efforts to maximize impact, as directed by Practice Leaders or the Sales Director.
  2. Proactively scope solutions to address customer requirements, gain consensus, assess needs, and recommend solutions that optimize value for both the prospect and the firm.
  3. Secure input from all necessary stakeholders within the customer and the firm.
  4. Adapt solutions as necessary to ensure appropriate support.
  5. Coordinate with business development and delivery resources to align solution design with customer requirements.
  6. Demonstrate software to eliminate concerns of fit and create enthusiasm for implementation.
  7. Provide coaching and professional development for junior resources.
  8. Maintain strong relationships with Microsoft channel teams, partner technology specialists, and partner sales executives.
  9. Keep up with Microsoft product developments and incorporate into demonstrations and narratives. Communicate important product changes to consulting and business development teams.
  10. Assist in developing go-to-market sales strategies and marketing content, including whitepapers and recorded videos.

Accountabilities & Performance Measures:

  1. Achieve assigned productivity quotas.
  2. Maintain project throughput in early deal-sales process steps.
  3. Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings meeting company standards.
  4. Complete required training and development objectives within the specified timeframe.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years' experience presenting software solutions (B2B) focused on middle market/strategic customer segments.
  • 5 years' experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management.
  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Sales/Customer Service and Power Platform capabilities.
  • Proven achievement and technical solution expertise in a sales role.
  • Product certification, engineering credential, or equivalent technical credential.
  • Travel required (up to 80% when appropriate).

Compensation will depend on various factors including experience, education, and location, within the range of $142,800 - $253,000, with potential for discretionary bonuses.
