Modern Foot & Ankle currently has twenty-four offices and twenty-six providers in Tampa, Orlando, Sarasota and South Florida, along two providers in Houston, Texas. Each of our doctors is provided with access to on-site digital X-ray and Ultrasound technologies, a customized EHR, a dedicated support staff, and the opportunity to build a clinic from the ground up.


Responsibilities

In addition to the normal duties of a licensed podiatrist, associates are required to:

Utilize advanced in-office imaging technologies and custom EHR.

Provide inpatient and outpatient clinical work.

Perform forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle surgical procedures.

Learn appropriate billing and coding procedures.

Participate in monthly billing and clinical discussions.

Periodically attend hands-on workshops.


Please note, associates are never required to do the following:

In-office work on weekends.

Make house calls or work in nursing homes.

Take overnight emergency call.


Qualifications


Bachelor's degree from a four-year university

Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine degree

Completion of a three-year podiatric residency by start date

Board-qualified or board-certified in American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS)

Willingness to be trained on appropriate billing and coding procedures

Enthusiasm for learning new surgical techniques, clinical therapies, and technologies

Being a self-starter who can work independently and is confident in problem-solving
