2nd Shift - Plastic Injection Mold Operators, Mentor, OH
Train on 1st shift at $16/hour, then move to 2nd shift with $2.50 shift differential = $18.50/hour
What You’ll Do
- Operate injection molding machines following detailed work instructions
- Monitor mix levels, prepare dies, inject and remove parts
- Inspect parts for defects and remove die lines
- Load parts into containers and label accurately
- Input production data using handheld scanner
- Maintain clean, organized work area and complete end-of-shift duties
- Follow all safety procedures and communicate effectively with team
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
- Strong attendance and dependability
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements
- Stand for full 8-hour shift (plus overtime when needed)
- Lift up to 50 lbs. multiple times per shift
- Perform close visual inspections and handle small parts
- Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
