Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Picker/Packer position at a local warehouse. Available for immediate start dates!
A picker packer, also known as an order fulfillment associate, is responsible for efficiently fulfilling customer orders in a warehouse or distribution center by selecting items, packing them securely, and preparing them for shipment. They retrieve products from storage, verify item details, and pack them into appropriate containers for delivery.
Skills and Abilities:
Physical Stamina:
Picker packers often work on their feet for extended periods and may need to lift moderate to heavy items.
Attention to Detail:
Accuracy is crucial in order fulfillment, requiring careful attention to item details and quantities.
Teamwork and Communication:
Picker packers work as part of a team and need to communicate effectively with colleagues.
Adaptability:
The ability to adjust to changing priorities and work demands is important in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Oral/Written Communication:
Ability to understand verbal communications and written orders to ensure proper items are picked and packaged correctly and to adhere to safety protocol daily
Attendance, punctuality, and performance are essential. The company provides weekly incentives to those who are on time every shift, fulfil orders swiftly and effectively, take the full required break each shift, and demonstrate good work ethic.
SCHEDULE:
MONDAY thru FRIDAY at 11:00am until finished
(this is a shift team close and end times will vary, flexibility is a must)
$16.00/hour
