What you'll be doing...

As a Pega Lead Developer in the CXP Platform organization will be responsible to lead, design and deliver projects end to end across CXP Omni applications, with a focus on PEGA-CJCM, but also including PEGA Decisioning (NBX/RTD/OMP), One Message and CXP across multiple LoBs for Verizon Consumer and Business Groups.

You will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

  • Interfacing with different business stakeholders including Marketing, Customer Experience, Sales and Digital teams in addition to other GTS partner groups. Lead development & business teams in gathering and implementing requirements leveraging Pega technologies.

  • Ensuring platform is stable, highly performant, fault-tolerant, iconic-proof and NSA(North Star Architecture) compliant.

  • Providing architectural oversight for systems and services, document business processes and design & configure business rules per requirements.

  • Contributing to the end-to-end life cycle of an initiative and having the ability to identify impacts to other cross-functional teams/applications.

  • Working on production issue resolutions with a sense of urgency to ensure that the system is scalable, tuned for performance, and operationalized.

  • Providing mentor support and guidance to the team and ensuring the team is up to date.

  • Performing testing operation and validating functionality in pre and post production environments.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

  • Experience with Toad, Cassandra, Oracle, Json objects, XML, Postman, SoapUI, Kibana , Jira, Kafka.

  • Experience in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, including system analysis, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.

  • Experience in PEGA Case Management.

  • Experience with order Management applications architecture, development, operations & troubleshooting;

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Experience in creating system flow diagrams.

  • Experience with large scale transformation efforts, using frameworks and functional design for medium-to-large scale, multi-interface impact projects.

  • Experience with software architecture design and SOA services implementation.

  • Expertise in analysis and design skills on development for products and services that include front-end and back-end integration.

  • Understanding of business processes and requirements of the customers and translating them to architecture diagrams, functional specifications/user stories/etc.

  • Understanding of the full end-to-end impacts of an initiative and have the ability to identify any impacts to other cross-functional teams/applications.

  • Experience working on production issue resolutions.

  • Knowledge of North Star Architecture (SOE, SOI, CXP and SOR).

  • Understanding of core platforms such as ACSS, POS, CXP Services and VIP/POS BE.

  • Possess Agile project experience.

  • Knowledge of Sales, Digital experience and Customer service operations.

  • Good oral,written, documentation and presentation skills to communicate complex concepts effectively in executive presentations.

  • Possess good analytical and problem-solving skills, organizational and time management skills.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $101,000.00 - $194,000.00.
