Job Description
Century Group has partnered with a non-profit who is seeking a temp to hire Payroll Accountant. This is a mostly remote position with the occasional meeting in Petaluma. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $34.70 to $42.16 per hour.
Job Description: - Run bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports needed for labor compliance, tax filings, insurance audits and year end
- Support the Grants and Contracts team in contract onboarding, review, and monthly/quarterly invoicing
- Provide back-up for the AP and expense reimbursement processing, as needed
Requirements: - Proficiency in HRIS and Timekeeping Systems
- Demonstrated experience evaluating and maintaining strong internal controls
- Knowledge of non-profit accounting
Experience: - 4-5 years of Payroll experience
- Excel (advanced skills)
- Attention to detail
