The position is for a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Hand and Upper Extremity Surgeon specializing in the treatment of hand and elbow conditions at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. The role involves working in a high-volume tertiary referral center with access to advanced surgical facilities and a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must be board-eligible or board-certified with prescriptive authority and a medical license in Washington State.
Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesVirginia Mason Franciscan Health’s Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine section is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Hand and Upper Extremity Surgeon to join our team of two experienced Hand Surgeons, four exceptional Hand PAs, and two Certified Hand Therapists. This is a well-established practice that involves the care of hand and elbow conditions only - general orthopaedic coverage is not expected. As a tertiary referral center for the Pacific Northwest, one would be entering a high volume practice that includes a nice mix of bread-and- butter hand and elbow conditions as well as more complex cases. The practice location is shared between our downtown Seattle campus and one of our regional medical centers. There is access to an ASC as well as a procedure room for wide-awake surgeries. We have a strong reputation for excellent patient care and highly rated surgical outcomes. Our practice covers all adult conditions from the elbow to the hand.
