Overview Vaco Atlanta is seeking an experienced accounting professional with hands-on experience in Oracle ERP implementations to join our project team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, combined with experience in the configuration, testing, and deployment of Oracle Financial modules. This role is critical in ensuring that the Oracle implementation aligns with accounting standards and supports efficient financial operations. This is a long term contract opportunity that requires 4 days onsite in Atlanta, GA. NO C2C Candidates or Third Party will be accepted. Responsibilities Act as the finance subject matter expert (SME) during the Oracle ERP (Cloud) implementation Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, finance, operations) to gather and analyze business requirements. Assist in the configuration and setup of Oracle financial modules, including: General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Fixed Assets (FA) Cash Management Project Accounting (if applicable) Participate in data migration activities, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data. Develop and execute test cases to validate functionality and integration of accounting modules. Support change management, including user training and documentation. Identify and troubleshoot issues during implementation and post-go-live stabilization. Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory requirements. Provide input on process improvements and best practices enabled by Oracle ERP capabilities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred). 3-7 years of accounting experience, including month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting. Hands-on experience with at least one full-cycle Oracle ERP implementation (Cloud). Deep understanding of accounting processes and financial reporting requirements. Project Management experience Proficiency with Oracle Financial modules and understanding of Oracle reporting tools Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with system testing, training, and documentation. Compensation Targeted salary is $75-100/hr Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
