Onward Search Education is partnering with a school district in Kit Carson County, CO to hire a school-based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the 2025–2026 school year.
Location: Kit Carson County, CO
Start Date: August 1, 2025
End Date: May 29, 2026
Schedule: 3 days/week
Grade Level: PreK–12th grade
Hours: Approximately 22.5 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy services under the supervision of an OTR across four school sites.
- Assist in implementing student treatment plans and IEP goals.
- Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to help students access their education.
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed COTA registered with DORA (Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies).
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
