Mechanical/Electrical Assembler
The Industrial Controls Company
Controls are the nerve center of any system — the complex, intelligent interface between a system and the installation environment where it performs. The Industrial Controls Company engineers, designs and manufactures industrial control panels and systems from the ground up and we’re looking for a high performing Assembler to enhance our team.
Do you have great ideas, and your voice isn’t being heard? Do you want to be part of a process improvement team that actually makes improvements? Are you looking for a place where you’re comfortable and can call home? If you are, we’re looking for you. We need a Mechanical/Electrical Assembler that’s more than a daily task performer; we need a problem solver and a teammate; a decision maker with great ideas that loves to make the team and the company successful.
We’re looking for a team member to assemble mechanical and electrical components onto subpanels and in electrical enclosures. This is not just a production line position as the work will change on a daily basis. We need a talented, quality minded craftsman who is a team player and who takes pride in being successful. While the position requires you to read layouts and bills of materials, we truly believe it’s more important to hire great people than it is to hire the perfect resume. For that reason, we’ll train the right person, as long as you’re a great fit in our culture.
We are a privately held company that takes pride in our structured, hardworking team who constantly strives to make improvements. Our team lives by our core values of “Do the right thing” – we act with Absolute Integrity and Agility , we are always Customer-Centic and together we are a Pod of Killer Whales (look this one up!). We have fun, love to see progress and play to win. We have a family friendly environment with great people, excellent benefits and do not tolerate games or politics. We build extremely high-quality products that are on time, every time (when we can get parts!). We can fight fires to make things happen AND step back to improve the processes, so we don’t fight the same fires again.
This is a real job at a real place with real people. Let’s chat to see if we’re a match.
