Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial equipment and facility systems. This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical skills, works independently, and completes tasks in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Essential Functions

• Coordinate routine and preventive maintenance of shop equipment in collaboration with production leadership
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery, including CNC equipment
• Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on forklifts, vehicles, and trailers
• Inspect facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and potential issues
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment performance and uptime
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Specialized Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in operating and maintaining CNC machinery, including beam lines, plasma tables, and plate processors
• Strong understanding of 3-phase electrical systems up to 480 volts
• Experience repairing and maintaining cranes and hoists
• Skilled in servicing welders, forklifts, tractor trailers, and diesel-powered equipment
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, motors, and industrial control systems
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues effectively
• Strong attention to safety and preventive maintenance practices
