Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Recruiter to join our team. The Legal Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing qualified legal professionals—including attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff—for our clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the legal industry and a proven ability to build strong relationships with both candidates and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking events, and databases
- Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit
- Collaborate with hiring managers or clients to understand role requirements and timelines
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams
- Prepare and present qualified candidates with detailed summaries
- Manage the offer process, including negotiations and closing candidates
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Stay updated on legal industry trends, salary benchmarks, and hiring practices
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of legal talent
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Law, or a related field (JD a plus)
- Must have worked with Staffing agencies or recruitment firms before
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, roles, and qualifications
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple roles and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with ATS and MS Office/Google Workspace.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
- Experience recruiting for law firms.
- Established network of legal professionals.
