Private family looking hire areliable Nanny/Family Assistantto help ease their lives in Great Falls, VA!

*This position can be live-in if interested with a private room and bathroom on a private floor*

The Ideal  Candidate:  Client is currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Nanny/ Family Assistant to provide comprehensive support to their home and ensure the smooth functioning of their household. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and have a caring and warm personality. The primary responsibilities of this role involve running errands, managing household projects, caring for the children when they are out of school (ages 7 yrs and 6yrs) and providing general support to the family. The ideal candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Regarding the children, the candidate needs to be someone who has a calm demeanor. The 7 yr old has an anxiety disorder. Someone who is experienced with similar is preferred. This requires a candidate to be patient, calm, and compassionate. There are techniques in place and therapy is utilized in aiding the child. They would like a candidate who can be flexible and work occasional evenings, as well as possibly travel with them. 

Responsibilities:

• Errand Management: Regularly run errands such as grocery shopping, visiting the UPS store, making returns, and accepting deliveries at the house.
• Childcare of 7yr old and 6yr old- pick up/drop off, take them to activities after school such as dance class.
• Meal prep
• Ensure timely completion of errands and maintain an organized system for tracking and managing tasks.
• Household Projects: Assist with various projects around the house, including but not limited to reorganizing areas in the home,  cooking basic meals, family laundry, maintaining clean areas, etc
• Handle tasks efficiently and effectively, following instructions provided by the family.
• Household Assistance: Provide general support to the family, anticipating their needs and addressing them proactively.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• CPR and first aid certified required
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication skills to effectively interact with the family.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks.
• Respect for privacy and maintaining confidentiality.
• Reliable transportation to run errands.
• Comfortable working with dogs.

• Work Hours: 40 hours/week 12pm-8pm M-F. Occasionalneed for later evenings and weekend work. They would like someone to travel as well.

• Experience:  5 Years of Experience
• References:  Minimum of 2 References
• Background:  Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire
• Personality Traits: Intuitive, caring, proactive, calm with children. 

Position Compensation

• Salary:  $35-$45/hr
• Living Accommodations:  Live In- Private room and bathroom on a private floor. Can be live out as well. 
• Vacation: 2 weeks PTO
• Health Insurance: Yes a plan can be provided
• Possible 401k offered with match.
